Biography
Ali Asghar Shiri was a 35-year-old father of two who was shot in the chest by security forces during protests in Sabashahr on January 9, 2026. Following the shooting, several hospitals in Shahriar and Karaj refused to admit him for three hours while security forces reportedly fired upon the vehicle transporting him. He ultimately died from his injuries in his father's arms, leaving behind a ten-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son.
علیاصغر شیری، پدر ۳۵ ساله دو کودک، در ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات سراسری در صباشهرِ شهریار با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به سینهاش مجروح شد. پس از زخمی شدن، بیمارستانهای شهریار و کرج بهمدت ۳ ساعت از پذیرش او خودداری کردند و او در نهایت بهدلیل شدت جراحات و عدم رسیدگی پزشکی در آغوش پدرش جان باخت. از او یک دختر ۱۰ ساله و یک پسر ۷ ساله به یادگار مانده است.
